My name is Melanie Sczesny-Wilvers

Founded in 2020 during a pandemic after losing the job I love, I took the leap and created Dandelions & daisies YEG after my love of candles.

I wanted a healthy alternative to burning candles so I did some research and created coconut soy blended candles that are made with phthalate-free & paraben-free fragrance oils. My 8oz jar candles have a wood wick that has a beautiful crackling sound when lit.

I hand pour each candle in small batches in my kitchen so I can control the quality of every one.

I know you are going to love burning them as much as I love making them for you.

Sitting on the patio tonight when I saw a big bright light. Looked over and it was the Celebrity Apex cruise ship leaving Puerto Rico.

Built in 2019, this cruise ship has 14 decks and room for over 3400 passengers & 1300 crew.

The video sadly doesn’t do it justice. It’s a beautiful ship. I love that we get to see them leaving from our patio. Something I will definitely miss.
